Meet FRIAS Family Vineyard
Our History
FRIAS Family Vineyard began with a dream of owning a piece of Napa Valley. In 1977, our family purchased 100 acres in the Spring Mountain District, planting our first five acres of Cabernet Sauvignon in 1985 and producing our first vintage in 1987.
Today, FRIAS farms 13 acres of hillside vineyards planted to Cabernet Sauvignon and sources exceptional fruit from the Oakville and Yountville AVAs. Our small-batch wines reflect the character of these distinctive Napa Valley growing regions and the hands-on approach of a family-owned winery.
Second-generation brothers Fernando and Manny Frias Jr. now lead the family winery, continuing the work started by their father. Todd Heth has been our winemaker since 2004.
